Job description
A leading secondary school in Cambridge is looking for a passionate Art ECT to join their successful Creative Arts Department from January 2026 (or sooner if available). This Outstanding -rated school educates approximately 1,400 students aged 11–18 and prides itself on combining academic excellence with artistic ambition. The Art Department is a cornerstone of the school’s culture, frequently organising exhibitions, gallery visits, and collaborative projects with local artists. As an Art ECT, you will teach across KS3–KS5, with the full support of an experienced mentor and department team. The school provides exceptional facilities including a digital media suite, ceramics studio, and darkroom, alongside access to Apple Macs and Adobe Creative Suite for digital design work. This role offers the opportunity to inspire creativity in a vibrant and supportive setting. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of contemporary art education, excellent subject knowledge, and the ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities.
