Key Stage 2 SEN Teacher – Specialist School – Haringey A forward-thinking and inclusive SEN school in Haringey is looking for an innovative Key Stage 2 SEN Teacher who is passionate about empowering students with special educational needs. You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment , where you can make a real impact on the academic and personal development of each child. This role offers a chance to create and deliver engaging and tailored lessons , ensuring that every student has the tools they need to thrive in their educational journey. In this role, you’ll work closely with a team of dedicated staff, including SEN support assistants , to address individual learning needs and promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment . You’ll be able to get creative with lesson planning and offer a learning experience that is both engaging and accessible for all students, building their confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning . Role Highlights: Permanent, full-time position in a collaborative and supportive SEN school Plan and deliver individualized, engaging lessons tailored to students' specific needs Work alongside SEN support staff to create personalized learning plans Foster a positive, safe, and structured learning environment where students feel supported Collaborate with the wider SEN team to ensure that all students are supported holistically Participate in ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities Experience & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with Key Stage 2 experience Experience in an SEN setting preferred but not essential Passion for working with students who have special educational needs Strong communication, organizational, and adaptability skills Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team Clear Enhanced DBS check required Why Join Us?
