Job description
Location: Berkshire Position: Primary Teacher (Fixed-Term Contract) Contract: Full-Time (22nd April 2025 – 18th July 2025, with the possibility of extension) Salary: MPS1-UPS3 (£33,075 - £50,471, fringe area) Start Date: 22nd April 2025 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming, one-form entry school in Berkshire. This fixed-term position starts in April 2025 and runs until July 2025 , with the possibility of an extension based on the school’s needs. About the School: Our school is a one-form entry Church of England primary located in a vibrant village on the outskirts of Slough . About the Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Primary Teacher who is passionate about inspiring young minds and helping every child achieve their full potential. This full-time , fixed-term role offers the opportunity to work in a caring and collaborative environment while contributing to the school’s vision and values. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons that meet the diverse needs of all learners. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued. Assess and monitor pupil progress, using data to adapt teaching and support individual needs. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices. Uphold and promote the Christian ethos and values of the school. The Ideal Candidate Will: Be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a passion for primary education . Demonstrate excellent teaching skills and the ability to inspire and engage pupils. Be an enthusiastic team player who is adaptable and proactive. Commit to inclusive education and the development of independent learners. Embrace and reflect the school’s Christian vision and values .
