A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in York is seeking a motivated English Teacher to join its English department from January 2026 . About the Role: This full-time role includes teaching English Language and Literature across KS3–KS4 , contributing to curriculum development, assessment, and whole-school literacy initiatives. About the School: The school serves approximately 1,100 students and is Ofsted rated Good , with inspectors highlighting positive behaviour, strong leadership, and improving academic outcomes. The English department is collaborative and well supported, with shared planning and resources.
