You will plan and deliver hands-on, skills-focused lessons that develop students’ understanding of nutrition, food science, health, sustainability and enterprise. The school is seeking a practitioner who can inspire creativity and independence while maintaining high standards of safety and organisation within the kitchen environment. A passion for real-world learning and promoting healthy lifestyles is essential. Beyond classroom teaching, there is significant scope to lead or support enrichment activities such as cooking clubs, enterprise projects, wellbeing initiatives and cross-curricular STEM collaborations. Experience and Qualifications • QTS/PGCE and a degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, Hospitality or a related discipline • Experience teaching GCSE and A Level Food Technology desirable • Strong knowledge of food safety, nutrition and practical kitchen management • Excellent organisational and classroom management skills • A commitment to co-curricular involvement and holistic education About the School This independent school in Birmingham is recognised for successfully balancing tradition with innovation.
