Job description
Psychology Teacher required to start in Easter 2025 Outstanding School in Shropshire Join a highly successful and well-resourced Psychology department Full-time position MPS/UPS salary scale We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join an Outstanding school in Shropshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Psychology at both GCSE and A-Level, working within a highly successful and well-resourced department. The department is known for its academic excellence and collaborative working environment, making it an ideal place for teachers to develop and grow. This role is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs. School Information: The school has been graded Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted, with exceptional results and a strong reputation in the local community. Located in Shropshire, the school is easily accessible and provides a welcoming, positive, and supportive environment for both students and staff. We have worked with this school for several years and are confident it is an excellent place to further your teaching career. Experience and Qualifications: A Psychology Teacher with experience teaching Psychology at GCSE and A-Level. Excellent subject knowledge in Psychology. A teaching qualification with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). Legal ability to work within the UK. Specific Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners. Assess and record student achievements in Psychology. Manage the classroom and resources effectively to create a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment. Maintain positive discipline and support the well-being and academic progress of students. Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, parents, and students. Salary: The salary for this Psychology Teacher position will be paid in line with the teacher pay scale (MPS/UPS).
