Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maths ECT to join a high-performing and inclusive secondary school in Oxford . This is a full-time position starting in January 2026 , offering exceptional mentoring, structured support, and professional development to help you excel in your teaching career. • Maths ECT required to work full-time • Outstanding mixed secondary school in Oxford • Join a successful and collaborative Mathematics department with a comprehensive ECT induction programme This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated new teacher to begin their career in a supportive school known for its high standards, vibrant learning environment, and commitment to excellence. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 , with opportunities to extend to KS5. Experience and Qualifications • Maths ECT (PGCE or equivalent completed) • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Mathematics education • Commitment to reflective practice and professional growth • Legal right to work in the UK School Information This 11–18 Outstanding secondary school in Oxford has an enrolment of approximately 1,250 students and a growing Sixth Form. The school has a track record of excellent GCSE and A-Level results, particularly within Mathematics, where progress and attainment remain consistently high. ECTs are supported by a robust induction framework, mentoring by experienced staff, and regular CPD opportunities to enhance classroom practice and career progression. Salary Paid to scale on MPS.
