Job description
School Office Manager | Immediate Start | Ipswich, Suffolk Drive efficiency and support in a community-focused academy. A busy and ambitious secondary school in Ipswich is seeking an energetic Office Manager to join their team immediately . We are looking for a "problem solver" who can lead from the front, providing mentorship to the admin team and high-level support to the Principal. The Snapshot Location: Ipswich (Excellent links via A12 and A14) Salary: Suffolk County Council Grade (Competitive) Contract: Full-time, Permanent (Year-round) Start Date: ASAP Detailed Responsibilities Staffing Coordination: Managing the daily cover requirements for staff absence, ensuring the school remains operational and safe. Facilities Liaison: Working closely with the Site Manager to coordinate maintenance requests and health and safety audits within the office spaces. Data Analysis: Preparing detailed administrative reports for the Board of Governors, focusing on attendance trends and school operational metrics. Reprographics & IT: Overseeing the school’s printing and reprographics department, managing contracts for office hardware and software.
