Job description
A creative and forward-thinking secondary school in Salisbury is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Performing Arts Teacher to join its vibrant department from April 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to teach in a school that places strong value on creativity, self-expression, and high-quality performance. Performing Arts is a popular and well-supported subject within the school, with strong pupil engagement across Drama, Music, and performance-based activities. The Role Teaching Performing Arts across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 depending on specialism Planning and delivering engaging, practical, and well-structured lessons Supporting pupils with performance work, devised pieces, and exam preparation Contributing to school productions, showcases, and enrichment activities Encouraging confidence, collaboration, and creative expression Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced department The Ideal Candidate Will Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) A degree in Performing Arts, Drama, Music, or a related subject Experience teaching Performing Arts at secondary level Strong classroom management and confident practical teaching skills High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and achievement A professional, organised, and energetic teaching approach School Information This creative secondary school in Salisbury is known for its inclusive ethos, strong leadership, and commitment to a broad and balanced curriculum.
