PE Teacher – Welcoming SEN School – Barnet 📍 Location: Barnet 📅 Start Date: April 2024 📄 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent 💰 Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience) Are you a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher looking to inspire and support students in an inclusive SEN setting ? A welcoming and well-resourced SEN school in Barnet is seeking a committed PE Teacher to join their team in April. Your Role as a PE Teacher: 🔹 Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive PE lessons tailored to students with diverse learning needs. 🔹 Foster a positive and structured learning environment that promotes physical and mental well-being . 🔹 Adapt activities to ensure all students, regardless of ability, can participate and thrive . 🔹 Work closely with therapists, SENCOs, and support staff to create individualised learning plans. 🔹 Encourage teamwork, confidence, and positive behaviour through structured physical education. 🔹 Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ✅ Experience teaching PE , ideally within an SEN or inclusive setting . ✅ A creative and adaptive teaching approach. ✅ Strong behaviour management and communication skills. ✅ A passion for promoting physical education in an inclusive environment . ✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
