Job description
Music Teacher - Full-time, Permanent (September 2025 Start) A vibrant Mixed Secondary School in Hillingdon is seeking a dynamic Music Teacher to inspire and develop the musical talents of our students. If you are a creative and dedicated individual, ready to lead engaging lessons and school performances, we encourage you to apply. About Our Learning Community: Our school is committed to providing a well-rounded education that values the performing arts. We have a strong emphasis on student creativity and expression, and our Music department is a vibrant and active part of the school community. About the Role: Deliver dynamic and engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3-5. Plan and direct school performances, fostering student involvement in all aspects of music. Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to inspire creativity and musical skills. Assess student progress through performances, presentations, and written work. Contribute to the development of the Music curriculum and participate in departmental planning. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Music or Music Performance. Experience teaching Music to A-Level, with a focus on both practical and theoretical aspects of the subject. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and performance skills.
