Job description
An innovative and welcoming independent primary school in West Sussex is seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1/KS2 Teacher to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent role, offering the opportunity to inspire and support pupils across Key Stage 1 or 2 within a nurturing and engaging learning environment. Role Details: - Full-Time, Permanent - Key Stage: KS1/KS2 - Start Date: January 2026 (or flexible based on candidate availability) The School: This independent school provides a stimulating and supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to develop academically, socially, and creatively. Staff are supported through professional development opportunities and collaborative teaching practices, fostering a culture of curiosity, high expectations, and a love of learning. Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across KS1 or KS2. - Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development. - Maintain high standards of behaviour and effective classroom management. - Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance learning outcomes. - Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers.
