School Status & Location Sector: Further Education College (Mixed, 16-18). Borough: Islington (Inner London, England). Start Date: ASAP Start, Part-Time (Every Tuesday Afternoon, 12:30pm–4:30pm). The Opportunity & School Profile An Islington-based college requires a specialist English Teacher for a specific Tuesday afternoon block. This is a temporary role ideal for an educator seeking flexibility while maintaining a high standard of post-16 instruction. Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope Literary Analysis: Delivering English instruction to 16-18 year old learners. Full Academic Cycle: Responsibility for all planning and marking associated with the Tuesday sessions. Student Engagement: Supporting students with GCSE resits or Functional Skills English as required. Compensation & Benefits Essential Requirements: Teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) or significant FE experience. Strong subject knowledge in English. Salary: Competitive hourly/daily rate reflecting Inner London weighting. Support: Access to college resources and a friendly, urban campus environment.
