Job description
History Teacher required January 2026 Well-regarded mixed secondary school based in Burnham-on-Crouch History Teacher to join a successful and highly collaborative Humanities team Our Client is looking for a History Teacher to teach KS3 and KS4 within a popular coastal secondary school in Burnham-on-Crouch. The department focuses on historical enquiry, critical thinking and exam performance, supported by strong curriculum sequencing and shared planning. School Information This 11–18 school educates approximately 1,150 pupils and has a strong community reputation for academic standards, pastoral care and behaviour consistency. The History department benefits from dedicated classrooms, rich lesson resources and consistent GCSE uptake. Teachers describe the culture as calm, well structured and academically focused. Leadership provides clear expectations and meaningful professional development through CPD, coaching and subject networking.
