Looking for the school that will soon become your home? A distinguished school in Chippenham has a rare and exciting vacancy within their Drama department. Job Overview Our client is recruiting for a Drama Teacher starting in February 2026. This is a co-educational school with an excellent reputation and strong staff–student relationships. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Drama from KS3 to KS5, working with a high-achieving, well-behaved, and enthusiastic student body. The School The school is committed to developing well-rounded individuals through a strong personal, social, moral, spiritual, and cultural (PSMSC) programme, while also placing a high value on staff wellbeing and ongoing professional development. Parents speak very highly of the school, frequently describing staff as “incredible” professionals who “know pupils well and engage with them on an individual level.” The Drama Department The Drama department goes above and beyond to create an inspiring and dynamic learning experience for students. Lessons are enriched through performance opportunities, workshops, and creative exploration. The department regularly supports school productions, performances, and enrichment activities, and encourages students to develop confidence, communication skills, and a lifelong appreciation of the performing arts. Drama Teacher – Experience and Qualifications • Educated to degree level in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related subject • A recognised teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE) • Legal right to work in the UK • Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills • Strong subject knowledge with a passion for performance and creativity Location: Chippenham, Wiltshire Application To be considered for this Drama Teacher position, please send your CV as soon as possible.
