We are seeking a passionate KS2 Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive school in Newham , starting in April 2025 . KS2 Teacher Role Start Date: April 2025 Location: Newham Working Hours: Full-Time Contract Type: Permanent The School Located in the vibrant area of Newham, this 2-form entry primary school is committed to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment for all children. The school prides itself on its strong ethos of high standards and nurturing the development of every student. The leadership team supports its staff with excellent professional development opportunities and a collaborative approach to teaching. KS2 Teacher Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Key Stage 2 students. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and motivated to achieve their best. Assess and track student progress regularly, providing targeted support and constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement. Create opportunities for cross-curricular learning, encouraging children to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure that all children receive a rich and stimulating learning experience. Participate in school-wide activities, staff meetings, and professional development to contribute to the overall success of the school. KS2 Teacher Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with a solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum. Passionate about creating an inspiring and inclusive learning environment for children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A flexible and collaborative team player eager to continue professional development. A commitment to promoting academic excellence and supporting the holistic development of all students.
