Textiles Teacher Wanted Position: Textiles Teacher Location: Wolverhampton Contract: Full-Time, Permanent About the Textiles Teacher Role Are you a passionate and creative Textiles Teacher ready to inspire young minds? We are looking for an enthusiastic Textiles Teacher to join our dedicated team at a well-established secondary school in Wolverhampton. You'll have the opportunity to teach students across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5, covering fashion, design, and textiles skills. As a Textiles Teacher, you will nurture students’ creativity and practical skills, while encouraging them to express themselves through design. You'll be part of an innovative department where you can shape students' understanding of textiles and fashion design. Textiles Teacher Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and creative Textiles lessons across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 Tailor your teaching to accommodate students of varying abilities Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity Contribute to the development of the department’s curriculum Participate in extracurricular activities, including fashion shows and design projects What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent A passion for textiles, design, and creativity Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities Strong communication and organisational skills A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Previous experience teaching Textiles at the secondary level Why Choose Us?
