History Teacher – Outstanding School – Croydon An Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in the London Borough of Croydon seeks a dedicated and knowledgeable History Teacher to join their well-resourced and highly successful Humanities department. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5 teaching for a suitably experienced candidate). Responsibilities: The successful History Teacher will plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that develop students' historical skills, including source analysis, interpretation, and argumentation. You will cover a range of historical periods, preparing students for GCSE and potentially A-Level examinations. Assessing student progress rigorously, providing constructive feedback, and contributing to the History curriculum are key parts of this History Teacher role. Requirements: Applicants must be a qualified History Teacher (QTS) with a degree in History or a closely related field. Proven experience teaching History at the secondary level is essential, ideally with a track record of excellent student outcomes.
