SENCO – Thriving Primary Academy – Haringey 📍 Location: Haringey 📅 Start Date: April 2025 📄 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent 💰 Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience) Are you a dedicated and experienced SENCO looking for your next challenge? A thriving primary academy in Haringey is seeking a passionate SENCO to join their team in April. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the SEN provision in a supportive and forward-thinking school , ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive and succeed. Your Role as SENCO: 🔹 Lead and manage the SEN provision , ensuring high-quality support for students with a range of additional needs. 🔹 Oversee the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCPs . 🔹 Provide expert advice and guidance to staff on best practices for SEN support and differentiation strategies. 🔹 Monitor student progress, track interventions, and ensure strategies are effective in supporting students’ development. 🔹 Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive, holistic support. 🔹 Ensure compliance with SEN policies and promote inclusion throughout the school. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with the National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete). ✅ Experience in a SENCO role or leading SEN provision in a primary setting. ✅ Strong knowledge of SEN legislation and best practices. ✅ A collaborative, proactive approach with excellent communication and leadership skills . ✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
