Job description
We are working with a nurturing secondary school in Hertfordshire that is seeking a Drama Teacher who understands that the stage is a place for building student confidence. This full-time role starts on 20th March and runs through to the end of the academic year. About the School This 11–18 mixed school prides itself on its "whole child" approach. Drama is viewed as a vital tool for developing students' empathy, communication, and self-esteem. The school offers a tranquil working environment and a staff room where collaboration and teacher wellbeing are genuinely valued. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a curriculum that is both challenging and accessible. Beyond the classroom, there is the opportunity to assist with lunchtime clubs or smaller performance showcases that celebrate the diverse talents of the student body. Requirements A warm, human-like approach to classroom management and student rapport. QTS and experience working within a mixed-ability secondary setting. The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to work in the UK. Salary M1 – UPS3 (£31,350 – £47,839) per annum, pro-rata.
