Job description
Location: Dartford Start Date: ASAP/April 2025 Position: Permanent/Temporary Salary: MPS/UPS About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join a highly successful and well-resourced department at an outstanding mixed school near Dartford. The ideal candidate will have a strong subject knowledge, be able to inspire students, and contribute to the department’s ongoing success. You will be working alongside experienced and supportive colleagues who are committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. Key Responsibilities: Teach Music across KS3 & KS4, delivering engaging and high-quality lessons. Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that inspire, challenge, and support students. Use data-driven assessment methods to monitor progress and provide feedback. Contribute to the department’s curriculum development and extracurricular activities. Maintain high expectations for student behaviour, achievement, and engagement. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student learning and progress. Requirements: Qualified Music Teacher with the ability to teach at KS3 & KS4. Holds a formal teaching qualification with QTS (e.g., PGCE). Strong classroom management skills and a passion for teaching Music. Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
