Job description
A large and inclusive secondary school in West Yorkshire is seeking a professional and highly organised HR Administrator to support its people operations from January 2026. This is a trusted role within the school, supporting staff throughout the full employment lifecycle. The school places a strong emphasis on staff wellbeing, clear processes and professional respect. HR is seen as a supportive, enabling function rather than a purely procedural one. The Role Working closely with senior leaders and the business team, you will provide high-quality HR administration and ensure compliance with employment and safeguarding requirements. Key responsibilities include: Recruitment administration and onboarding of new staff Maintaining personnel files, contracts and safeguarding checks Supporting absence management and staff wellbeing processes Preparing documentation for payroll and senior leadership Responding to HR queries with discretion and professionalism Supporting policy implementation and compliance The Working Environment This is a structured, well-supported role with clear systems in place.
