Job description
A highly regarded independent Mixed School in Enfield, North London, known for its supportive working environment and strong emphasis on intellectual and personal development, is seeking a confident Teacher of Religious Studies for a Permanent, Full-Time position. The start date for this role is ASAP (Immediate Start). Compensation & Contract Job Title: Teacher of Religious Studies Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Start Date: ASAP (Immediate Start) Salary: Competitive independent school pay scale, reflecting the Outer London region. The Role The successful Teacher of Religious Studies will instruct pupils across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, covering a broad and rigorous RS curriculum. The Teacher of Religious Studies will be responsible for fostering ethical debate and philosophical inquiry amongst students. The school requires the Teacher of Religious Studies to contribute to the school's strong pastoral programme as a Form Tutor. The Teacher of Religious Studies will benefit from a dedicated and experienced departmental team. This is an immediate opportunity for a talented Teacher of Religious Studies. The appointed Teacher of Religious Studies will assist in promoting the intellectual life of the school. Requirements A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or Philosophy. Proven ability to teach Religious Studies to A-Level. Strong commitment to the school's ethos of holistic education.
