School Business Manager – Primary School, Barnet Location: Barnet, London Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Start Date: January 2026 Salary: Competitive (Dependent on experience) About the School Our client is a dynamic and highly regarded primary school in Barnet , known for its friendly atmosphere, strong values, and focus on excellence . About the Role We are seeking a proactive and confident School Business Manager to lead the school’s financial, operational, and administrative functions . This senior role offers the chance to work closely with the Headteacher and Governors to ensure the school operates efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities: Manage finance, budgeting, and resource allocation with precision and foresight Oversee HR, premises, and health & safety compliance , ensuring smooth daily operations Lead procurement, contracts, and administrative systems to maximise efficiency Support the Headteacher in strategic planning and operational decision-making Drive the effective use of school resources , ensuring value for money Experience and Qualifications Significant experience as a School Business Manager or senior school administration/finance professional Strong financial, organisational, and operational management skills Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities Confident using school management systems and finance software (e.g., FMS, SIMS) The legal right to work in the UK Application If you are an energetic, organised, and strategic professional looking to take on a key leadership role within a supportive and thriving school , please send your CV as soon as possible to be considered for this School Business Manager position in Barnet .
