Job description
English Teacher required January 2026 Good mixed school based in Colchester English Teacher to join a collaborative and well-equipped English department Our Client is seeking an English Teacher for a popular and oversubscribed school in west Colchester. The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 and contribute to the department’s continued focus on analytical writing, literature exploration, and whole-school literacy initiatives. School Information This 11–18 comprehensive school has around 1,400 pupils and consistently achieves strong academic outcomes. The school benefits from modern facilities, new ICT systems, updated teaching spaces, and a wide range of extracurricular activities. The English department encourages creativity, structured reading programmes, critical discussion, and strong exam preparation.
