Job description
Religious Studies Teacher required January 2026 Good mixed school based in Wakefield RS Teacher to join a motivated and supportive department Our Client is looking for a Religious Studies Teacher to work within a vibrant, forward-thinking secondary school in Wakefield. The successful RS Teacher will teach KS3 & KS4, helping students explore moral reasoning, ethics, and diverse worldviews. School Information This 11–18 school has around 1,250 students and an excellent academic record, with 93% achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The school promotes an ethos of respect and understanding, where Religious Studies plays a central role in developing empathy, tolerance, and intellectual curiosity. The department is highly regarded and well-resourced, with opportunities for cross-curricular projects in philosophy and citizenship education.
