Job description
A well-established secondary school in the Stratford-upon-Avon area is seeking an experienced and strategic School Business Manager to join its senior support team from January 2026. This is a pivotal role within the school, working closely with the Headteacher and senior leaders to oversee finance, operations, estates and compliance. The school is known locally for its strong organisation, stable leadership and professional culture, where support staff are integral to whole-school success. Key responsibilities include: Strategic oversight of school finances, budgeting and forecasting Line management of administrative, finance and site staff Managing contracts, procurement and external service providers Supporting governors and senior leaders with reporting and compliance The school offers: A supportive and visible leadership team Clear systems and well-established operational processes Opportunities to influence whole-school strategy A professional environment with long-term stability This role would suit an experienced School Business Manager who enjoys responsibility, autonomy and working as part of a collaborative leadership team.
