Creating engaging and challenging lessons in a variety of artistic disciplines, including drawing, painting, printmaking, and digital art. Encouraging students to think critically and creatively, guiding them to find their unique artistic voice. Providing feedback and assessment to support students’ development and academic progress in Art . Contributing to the wider life of the Art Department by leading extracurricular activities such as art clubs, exhibitions, and competitions. Collaborating with colleagues to continually improve the curriculum and share best practices within the Art Department . ✅ What We’re Looking For We are looking for an experienced Art Teacher who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Art, Fine Art, or Art & Design. Has proven experience teaching Art at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with the ability to deliver A-Level content. Is passionate about art education , with a strong understanding of a variety of artistic techniques and artistic theory. Can inspire and challenge students of all abilities, ensuring high standards of achievement in Art . Works collaboratively with other members of the Art Department , contributing to the development of both the curriculum and the broader school culture.
