Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher of Science to join a high-achieving secondary school in Leicestershire from September 2026 . This large, well-established school is rated Good by Ofsted and is recognised for its innovative approach to teaching and strong staff development culture. It’s the perfect environment for an ECT ready to thrive under supportive, structured mentoring. About the Role You’ll teach Science across KS3–KS4, with opportunities to specialise in your preferred discipline (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) as you develop. You’ll benefit from a reduced timetable and dedicated mentor support during your induction. The Science faculty is collaborative, friendly and resource-rich. Lessons are delivered in modern labs equipped with digital data loggers, microscopes and model kits, supported by experienced technicians. Why This School?
