A large and ambitious 11–16 secondary school in Leicester is seeking an experienced and driven Head of Geography to lead its popular Humanities faculty. The Role As Head of Geography, you will take strategic responsibility for curriculum planning, staff development and outcomes within the department. You will lead a small but committed team of subject specialists, ensuring consistency of teaching, clear assessment systems and strong subject knowledge across Key Stages 3 and 4. The department follows a carefully sequenced curriculum that incorporates local case studies — including urban regeneration, migration patterns and environmental change — alongside global themes such as climate systems, development and tectonic hazards.
