Job description
An Outstanding-rated secondary school in York is seeking an energetic and inspiring Dance Teacher to join its highly regarded Performing Arts Department. This is an excellent opportunity to teach in a school known for its exceptional standards, strong leadership, and vibrant creative provision. Dance Teacher required Outstanding secondary school based in York Highly successful Performing Arts department The role involves teaching Dance across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to contribute to KS5 depending on experience. You will deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons, support performance work, and play an active role in productions, showcases, and extracurricular dance activities. Experience and Qualifications QTS and a degree in Dance or a related Performing Arts discipline Experience teaching Dance at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable) Strong classroom practice and behaviour management Ability to inspire creativity, confidence, and technical excellence Willingness to contribute to performances, events, and enrichment activities School Information This Outstanding school in York is recognised for its exceptional academic and creative standards, supportive leadership, and positive learning environment.
