Year 5 Teacher – Inclusive Primary School in Croydon Are you a motivated and passionate Year 5 Teacher looking to make a difference in a supportive and inclusive school? A thriving primary school in Croydon is seeking an enthusiastic educator to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position starting after February half term 2025. Start Date: After February Half Term 2025 Location: Croydon Working Hours: Full-Time Contract Type: Permanent About the School This welcoming and inclusive primary school is committed to nurturing every child’s potential in a diverse and engaging learning environment. With a strong emphasis on collaboration and staff development, the school provides an excellent setting for teachers to grow and thrive. It is easily accessible with great transport links and on-site parking available for staff. Your Role as a Year 5 Teacher Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued. Assess, track, and support student progress, providing tailored feedback and intervention where needed. Inspire pupils to become independent and confident learners. Work closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure each child reaches their full potential. Engage in school initiatives, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities. What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 5. A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment methods. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A passion for inclusive education and supporting diverse learning needs. Commitment to continuous professional development.
