Your Role as HLTA: 🔹 Support class teachers with planning, delivering, and assessing lessons across various subjects. 🔹 Provide 1:1 and small group support for students, particularly those who may need extra help to meet their learning goals. 🔹 Lead interventions for students who require additional support in specific subjects or areas of development. 🔹 Assist in behaviour management to create a positive and effective learning environment for all students. 🔹 Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to class teachers to ensure that learning targets are met. 🔹 Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and help ensure they are fully included in class activities. 🔹 Help create and maintain learning resources and classroom displays that engage and inspire students. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a primary school setting. ✅ Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly in supporting and delivering lessons. ✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a flexible and proactive approach to supporting the class teacher. ✅ Passion for working with children and helping them achieve their potential. ✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
