Job description
A unique, highly selective, co-educational boarding and day school in North Yorkshire, consistently recognized as one of the country's top-performing schools, is seeking an experienced Teacher of Music for a Permanent, Full-Time position, commencing January 2026. Compensation & Contract Job Title: Teacher of Music Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Start Date: January 2026 Salary: Highly competitive salary, reflecting the school’s outstanding academic and co-curricular reputation. The Role The successful Teacher of Music will deliver a rigorous curriculum, inspiring and challenging students to think both independently and collaboratively across all key stages. The Teacher of Music will be expected to contribute significantly to the rich co-curricular life, where Music is also exceptionally strong, coordinating ensembles, concerts, and performances. The strength of the student body, combined with high-calibre teaching, will provide a highly motivating environment for the Teacher of Music. Requirements A relevant degree in Music and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience.
