Job description
We are recruiting a creative and caring Year 1 Teacher to join a friendly Good primary school in Bromley on a Full-Time contract from January 2026 . The successful Year 1 Teacher will be welcomed into a warm phase team and will start planning and handover sessions before January 2026 , attend induction in January 2026 , and teach from January 2026 . • Year 1 Teacher required for a Full-Time position starting January 2026 • Good-rated primary in Bromley seeking an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher • Year 1 Teacher to join a supportive KS1 team from January 2026 School snapshot • Good Ofsted-rated school in Bromley with strong community links. • Well-resourced KS1 environment and experienced teaching assistants. • Committed leadership who prioritise staff development and wellbeing. (Year 1 Teacher) Responsibilities • The Year 1 Teacher will plan and deliver high-quality phonics, reading and early writing lessons as the Year 1 Teacher. • The Year 1 Teacher will deliver engaging maths sessions and build number confidence for each child as the Year 1 Teacher. • The Year 1 Teacher will assess and track progress, deliver targeted interventions and report to parents as the Year 1 Teacher. • The Year 1 Teacher will lead curriculum projects, run enrichment activities and contribute to school life as the Year 1 Teacher. (Year 1 Teacher) Requirements • Qualified Teacher Status and recent KS1 experience as a Year 1 Teacher . • Confident phonics and early reading practice expected of a Year 1 Teacher. • Strong classroom management, creativity and excellent communication as a Year 1 Teacher.
