Motivated SEN Teaching Assistant Needed in Greenford to Support Inclusive Learning A forward-thinking and inclusive school in Greenford , within the London Borough of Ealing, is seeking a motivated and compassionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join their dedicated support team. This position requires a calm and consistent approach, particularly when working with pupils who may experience anxiety, frustration, or difficulties with regulation. Your presence will help create a sense of stability and reassurance throughout the school day. Key Responsibilities Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs Follow and contribute to EHCPs, individual support plans, and behaviour strategies Support pupils with attention, communication, and task completion Assist with emotional regulation and positive behaviour management Adapt classroom resources and learning activities to suit individual needs Encourage social interaction and peer relationships Support pupils during transitions and unstructured times Monitor progress and share observations with teachers and SEN staff Promote independence while offering appropriate levels of support Some roles may include aspects of personal care or physical assistance, depending on the needs of the pupils. Full training and guidance will be provided where required.
