Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our team for the remainder of the academic year, with the possibility of extending the contract into September 2025. As a Year 5 teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of a curious, energetic class. Position: Year 5 Teacher / ECTs are welcome to apply Job Type: Full-time Start Date: February 2025 End Date: July 2025 (Potential for extension in September) Salary: MPS-UPS The Role: Take charge of a lively and inquisitive Year 5 class, fostering a love of learning in your students Deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons aligned with the national curriculum Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that supports every child’s academic, social, and emotional development Collaborate with a supportive team of staff, parents, and the wider school community to ensure each child thrives Contribute to a nurturing, inclusive, and faith-based ethos that celebrates achievement and personal growth What We’re Looking For: A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience or a strong interest in teaching Key Stage 2 A passionate educator committed to high-quality teaching and student-centered learning Respect for the Catholic ethos of our school, with a dedication to upholding our values of care, compassion, and excellence Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage and inspire both children and colleagues A focus on fostering student achievement and personal development, and a determination to make a lasting impact About the School: This school is a nurturing and vibrant Roman Catholic primary school located in the heart of the London Borough of Ealing, serving children aged 3 to 11.
