Job description
Our client is looking for a Science Teacher to join a high-performing Ofsted Outstanding secondary school in Birmingham . This is a full-time position to begin in April 2026 , teaching across KS3–KS5 , including GCSE and A-Level Science (subject specialism welcomed). Science Teacher required on a full-time basis Ofsted Outstanding secondary school Well-established Science department with strong leadership and excellent resources Supportive environment with ambitious, motivated students The successful Science Teacher will be joining a thriving department with modern laboratories, excellent technician support, and a collaborative team ethos. Students achieve consistently strong outcomes, with Science results above national averages. Behaviour across the school is exemplary, staff are well supported, and students demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for learning. This is a permanent position starting in April 2026 . Experience and Qualifications • Qualified Science Teacher with QTS or equivalent (PGCE, QTLS, etc.) • Strong subject knowledge across GCSE and ideally A-Level • Passion for inspiring curiosity and scientific thinking • Enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to high-quality teaching • Legal right to work in the UK School Information This Outstanding school in Birmingham is widely recognised for its academic excellence, inclusive ethos, and strong pastoral care.
