Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join an outstanding school in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to teach Psychology at KS4 and KS5 in a school that is committed to excellence and student success. Key Information: Position: Psychology Teacher Location: Northampton Start Date: September 2025 Salary: MPS1 – UPS3 (Dependent on experience) Contract: Full-time, Permanent Experience: ECT or experienced Psychology Teacher School Information: The school is known for its outstanding academic results and its commitment to providing an excellent education. The Psychology department is dynamic, with a dedicated team of educators who provide a supportive and challenging learning environment. Students are motivated and encouraged to reach their full potential, with strong outcomes at both GCSE and A-Level. What We’re Looking For: A passionate and engaging Psychology Teacher to teach at KS4 and KS5. The ability to create inspiring, thought-provoking lessons that stimulate curiosity and critical thinking in students. A teacher who is committed to student achievement and who can build positive relationships with students. A team player who is excited about working collaboratively within a department. Experience and Qualifications: Degree in Psychology or related field. QTS or PGCE. Experience teaching Psychology at KS4 and KS5 Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Salary: The salary for this Psychology Teacher position will be paid to scale on MPS/UPS.
