About the School A prestigious independent day and boarding school in Bath is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join their highly successful department from January 2026. The school educates approximately 900 pupils aged 11–18, combining academic ambition with creativity, curiosity, and care. Known for its strong STEM reputation, the Science Faculty consistently achieves outstanding results, with over 80% of students attaining A–B at A Level *, and many progressing to Oxbridge and Russell Group universities to study Medicine, Engineering, and Natural Sciences. About the Role This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to teach Science across KS3–KS5 , specialising in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics depending on expertise. The successful candidate will join a forward-thinking team dedicated to inspiring curiosity through practical investigation, inquiry-based learning, and critical thinking. The Science Department boasts eight state-of-the-art laboratories , digital microscopes, and a team of specialist technicians. Teachers are encouraged to integrate technology and experimentation into every lesson, ensuring scientific discovery remains engaging and relevant.
