Our client is seeking a talented and committed Economics Teacher to join a well-established independent day school near Wetherby renowned for its outstanding pastoral ethos, academic ambition, and vibrant co-curricular life. • Full-time Economics Teacher required from January 2026 • Distinguished Independent School near Wetherby • Excellent opportunity to teach in a supportive, innovative, and highly academic environment This is an exceptional opportunity for an Economics Teacher to join a forward-thinking and high-achieving department within a private school where students are intellectually curious, motivated, and eager to engage with real-world economic issues. Experience and Qualifications • Qualified Economics Teacher with strong subject expertise • Ability to teach Economics across KS4–KS5 (A-Level experience highly desirable) • Strong understanding of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and applied economic analysis • QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification • A commitment to high academic standards, excellent communication, and collaborative practice • Ability to bring real-world economic contexts into the classroom to deepen student understanding • Eligibility to work in the UK School Information This highly respected private school near Wetherby is celebrated for its warm, community-focused culture and its balanced approach to academic and personal development.
