Job description
About the Role An Outstanding girls school in Barnet is seeking a committed Science Teacher to join their science department from September. You will deliver high-quality science lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons, covering biology, chemistry, and physics. Prepare students for GCSE examinations. Develop students' scientific understanding and practical skills. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to the development of the science curriculum and resources. Organise and lead science-related extracurricular activities. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Science. Proven experience in teaching science at secondary level. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students. Benefits MPS/UPS salary scale, dependent on experience.
