Business Teacher - Full-time, Permanent (September 2025 Start) Are you an enthusiastic Business Teacher eager to inspire young adults in an Elite sixth form college in Hammersmith? We are seeking a dedicated educator to join our Business department, starting September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to focus on A-Level and vocational business studies in a high-achieving environment. Our Business department is a team of experienced professionals dedicated to delivering a challenging and relevant curriculum. About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Business Studies lessons at A-Level and vocational levels, following relevant examination specifications. Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of ambitious sixth form students. Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including case studies, business simulations, and guest speakers, to enhance student learning. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning journeys. Prepare students for A-Level and vocational business examinations, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria. Contribute to the development of the Business Studies curriculum and resources. Foster a passion for business and enterprise in students, encouraging them to develop their leadership and problem-solving skills. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Contribute to extracurricular activities and enrichment programs related to business and entrepreneurship. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies, particularly at A-Level. Demonstrated ability to teach A-Level and vocational business courses. Experience in preparing students for A-Level and vocational business examinations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to inspire and motivate high-achieving sixth form students. A passion for business and a commitment to fostering entrepreneurial spirit. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
