Job description
An established primary school in Essex is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, fixed-term basis. This role will begin in April 2025, following the half-term break, and will be offered for one year with the potential for the position to extend or become permanent. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis. Position Overview Role : Year 4 Teacher Location : Essex Contract : Full-Time, Fixed-Term (1 Year) Start Date : April 2025 (After Half-Term) Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and effective lessons that align with the national curriculum for Year 4 students. Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse learning needs of all students in the class. Regularly assess student progress, providing timely feedback and adapting teaching strategies as necessary to support individual learning. Create a stimulating, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that fosters academic and personal growth. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and cohesion across the curriculum. Develop strong partnerships with parents and carers, providing updates on student progress and engaging them in their child’s learning journey. Why This School? Desired Qualifications and Skills Qualifications : Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience : Previous experience teaching Year 4 or in Key Stage 2 is preferred.
