The Reception Teacher will attend planning sessions before January 2026, participate in induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as the Reception Teacher. *** Reception Teacher Merton *** Reception Teacher January 2026 start *** Reception Teacher Part-Time opportunity The Reception Teacher role This Reception Teacher will design play-based continuous provision, deliver focused phonics teaching and lead daily language and early mathematics routines. The Reception Teacher will use careful observation to assess children’s progress and will plan next steps. The Reception Teacher will join the phase team for moderation and will help lead transition to Year 1 — activities to be prepared for before January 2026 and carried out from January 2026.
