Job description
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive Primary School in Guildford. This is a permanent role starting January 2026, offering the chance to make a real impact as pupils prepare for the transition to secondary school. Key Information Position: Year 6 Teacher Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Permanent Working Pattern: Full Time, Term Time Only Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) Suitable for: Experienced or Early Career Teachers (ECTs welcome) About the Role As a Year 6 Teacher , you will take responsibility for guiding pupils through their final year of primary education, delivering high-quality lessons that both support and challenge. You will help pupils develop resilience, independence, and confidence in readiness for their next step in education. The successful candidate will embrace the responsibilities of a Year 6 Teacher, collaborating with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure all pupils achieve their potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
