Key Responsibilities Teach Year 2 pupils , building their confidence and preparing them for KS2. Use inquiry-based and interactive teaching methods to enhance engagement. Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils , including those with additional needs. Use data-driven assessment to track progress and adapt teaching accordingly. Collaborate with the wider KS1 team to develop and share best practices. Take part in extra-curricular activities and school-wide events. What We’re Looking For QTS and solid experience teaching in KS1, particularly Year 2. A growth mindset and willingness to embrace new teaching strategies. Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, phonics, and early numeracy. Ability to create dynamic and engaging learning experiences. Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
