Job description
Attendance Officer – Outstanding Secondary School, Lewisham Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale School information: This is a 11 to 18 well-established, Outstanding Ofsted Rated Secondary School in Lewisham with a strong focus on student wellbeing, safeguarding and positive outcomes. The school serves a diverse community and is recognised for its strong pastoral systems and inclusive ethos. The school offers a broad and balanced curriculum and places high importance on attendance as a key factor in student success. Staff benefit from supportive leadership and a collaborative working environment. Pastoral Team: The attendance team plays a crucial role in promoting positive attendance and punctuality across the school. The Attendance Officer will monitor attendance data, liaise with families and support students to overcome barriers to regular attendance.
