(Year 6 Teacher) Responsibilities • As Year 6 Teacher you will design and deliver high-quality English and maths sequences, focusing on reasoning, comprehension and independent writing as the Year 6 Teacher. • The Year 6 Teacher will lead SATs preparation where applicable, run targeted booster groups and use assessment data to drive rapid progress as the Year 6 Teacher. • The Year 6 Teacher will coordinate transition to secondary schools, lead parent transition meetings and mentor junior colleagues as part of the Year 6 Teacher role. The Year 6 Teacher will be involved in planning before January 2026 and will teach from January 2026. (Year 6 Teacher) Requirements • QTS (or equivalent) and proven Upper KS2 experience required of the Year 6 Teacher. • The Year 6 Teacher should demonstrate excellent classroom leadership, data literacy and the ability to inspire resilient learners. • Available for pre-term preparation and induction in January 2026, and able to begin teaching from January 2026 as the Independent School’s Year 6 Teacher.
