Job description
Music Teacher – Outstanding School in Coventry (ECT’s Welcome) An Outstanding school in Coventry is seeking a dynamic and passionate Music Teacher to join their successful department from January 2026 . Applications from ECTs are strongly encouraged. About the School This school has excellent pupil behaviour and a strong performing arts culture. Staff enjoy supportive leadership, a positive working atmosphere, and access to excellent facilities including rehearsal rooms, practice spaces, and modern music technology. About the Music Department The department is known for its lively extracurricular programme, including choirs, ensembles, and termly performances. The team works collaboratively and provides excellent support for ECTs. About the Role – Teach Music to KS3–KS4 – Deliver practical and theory-based lessons – Support musical productions and extracurricular ensembles – Create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment – Contribute to curriculum planning and assessment Experience and Qualifications – Degree in Music or related field – PGCE/QTS (ECTs welcome) – Strong musical proficiency and enthusiasm for performance Salary Paid to scale – MPS/UPS.
